Winter Solstice Rosamunde Pilcher

This is a story about found family and tragedy; it is set first in Hampshire, England then in Sutherland, Scotland in the latter part of the year. This is quintessential Rosamunde Pilcher; she brings together strangers and relatives and ends up creating a new family for all of them which helps ease the pain each was dealing with before they met. I read this book every year; it is the perfect cozy read for a December weekend!
