History Matters David McCullough

A series of speeches and writings by David McCullough on how History Matters to all of us. McCullough believed that we must understand history "through the eyes of its participants" and that living through times of tremendous change is how we learn. He also said that indifference to history shows ingratitude. Without knowing history we cannot understand the world we inhabit. This is probably the most page marked book that I own! Did you know we had our own "Dunkirk" (Revolutionary War)? This is definitely a Must Read!
