Eragon Christopher Paolini

A boy finds a blue stone in the woods and thinks he may be able to use it to help feed his family. Little did he know that it was actually an egg, and that a baby dragon would hatch from it and change his life. With the hatching of the dragon Eragon finds himself in a different world of magic, and evil. To guide him in this new world he has only an old sword and some wisdom from an old storyteller. Written by a nineteen year old, this series has sold over 40 million copies world-wide!
