Clementine Sonia Purnell

This biography of Clementine Churchill is the first since Clementine's daughter wrote hers. According to this book, Clementine was key in getting FDR to revise his unfavorable opinion of Winson Churchill. It also talks about Clementine's relationship with Eleanor Roosevelt and how each of them dealt with the war effort. Clementine was an intelligent woman and she made Winston's career her first priority. Winston said that "victory in the second world war would have been impossible without her".
